Appeals from Adverse Decisions
Often, people believe that if a judge rules in a certain way, that must be what the law says and that’s the way it’s going to be. However, that is not necessarily true. Every law library contains hundreds of law books containing thousands of decisions that are challenged, some over and over again. Aggressive, committed lawyers are always considering some future appeal as part of their overall trial strategy. Appeals are part of the fabric of the American justice system.
